In many households today people are gradually searching for additional methods to cook food other than gas burners. The cost of gas is increasing due to a number of reasons, gas supply can be unreliable at times so people are looking to old traditional methods. Therefore wooden stove cooking is becoming popular again.

Prior to the making of LPG gas stoves all our cooking was on an open fire. We all used to cook on the wood fire to prepare each meal in those days.

Even today, people’s everyday family cooking continues on wooden stoves in remote locations.

Instead of LPG gas or electricity, wooden stoves use naturally occurring sources of fuel, such as firewood, or others such as hay or dung. Many also suggest that food cooked on a wooden stove is better tasting and has a distinct traditional flavor.
